QR code generator
A static code you can download. It does not phone home.
The code is drawn in this tab. It is a static image, with no tracking and no account.
How to use it
- Choose a web address, plain text, a Wi-Fi network or a contact card.
- Set the size and the two colours if you want them different from the defaults.
- Create the code, check the preview, then download a PNG or an SVG.
A static code, and nothing else
The picture contains only the text you typed. There is no redirect, no scan counter and no account. If you later change the page the address points at, the code does not update, because the address is baked into the image.
Wi-Fi codes use the WIFI: format phones expect. A semicolon or colon in the password is escaped so it does not break the fields. Contact codes are a version 3 vCard. Colour is decorative: keep a dark mark on a light ground so cameras can read it.
Questions
Can you see how many people scanned it?
No. That would need a tracking address. This generator does not make one.
Which file should I download?
PNG for a slide or a document. SVG if you need to scale it for print without blurring.
Is the password sent anywhere?
No. The Wi-Fi string is encoded in this tab. Do not leave the preview on a shared screen.
